Last night BOB invaded the London Wine and Food Show at the Western Fair District! Pretty Matt was in our booth looking sharp in his tux from BUD GOWAN while people entered to win a $100 gift certificate from GUSTO! Stax and Pete introduced celebrity chef BOB BLUMER and met with our office winners Epernay Tasting Company!
MATT LOOP: Last night BOB listener Lydia Neeb and I experienced the sounds of STOMP, the second show in the Broadway in London series at the RBC Theatre in Budweiser Gardens. Here are our blogs of last night’s show (special thanks to Lydia’s daughter Tabby and my son Wesley)- see if you can tell which is written by a music teacher and which is written by a radio personality who wants to do the minimum in class!
Loop:Thanks to everyone who braved the cold and came out to Victoria Park last night for Rockin’ New Year’s Eve with Honeymoon Suite! The band was super classy (I must admit I was a bit star struck) and my highlight was being called up to be personally thanked by Johnnie Dee during their set allowing me a moment to get a shot with him! I would also like to thank the Rogers TV crew and especially my co-host Christine Taleski who was phenomenal! The acts were all incredible and of course my tux from Bud Gowan brought me to a whole new level of suave!
Matt Loop and Pretty Matt aka M + M, were on hand last night at the THE RACEWAY at the Western Fair District drawing for a VIP YUK YUK’s night as well as enjoying the awesome horse racing that The Raceway is known for! Anyone with a mustache (real or fake) got a $5 betting voucher plus brought attention to Movember (still time to sponsor someone with a stache!)! BOB’s M + M connection also got to hang with the winner of the BOB FM 8th race of the night! Check out the photo’s and make sure you head on down to experience the races first hand!
